Profound is the most heavily funded AI visibility platform and is built for large brands. We are built for small businesses and the agencies that serve them. This page is for anyone weighing the two, and it’s honest about where Profound is simply the bigger tool.
The short version. Profound is a good fit for enterprise brands with a dedicated team and budget: up to nine or ten AI systems, prompt volume data, content agents, SOC 2 and SSO.
AI Visibility Tracking is a good fit for local businesses and agencies with small clients: published prices from $29, no sales call, Google’s results beside every answer, and ten businesses for $199 a month.

Profound figures as reported by several independent reviews in September–November 2026. Profound’s pricing changed in 2026: reviews dated before mid-September quote self-serve Starter ($99, ChatGPT only, 50 prompts) and Growth ($399, three engines, 100 prompts) plans for brands, which later reports say were withdrawn in favour of a free trial and custom Enterprise pricing. Agencies are reported to pay an Agency Growth base plus $399 a month per full client workspace; Profound’s own pricing page, checked on 3 November 2026, shows no dollar price for agencies and lists 400 credits a month per client workspace. Check their page before buying. Our figures are the pricing page.
Per month. Profound agency rows are $399 per full client workspace as reported in October 2026, before the agency base plan; enterprise deployments are custom-quoted (reviews put them at $2,000–$5,000+ a month).
Profound’s brand plans are custom-priced after a free trial, according to reports from September to November 2026; earlier $99 and $399 self-serve plans are no longer listed for brands. Agencies are reported to pay $399 a month per client workspace plus a base plan.
For enterprise brands, Profound covers more AI systems and adds prompt volume data, content agents and enterprise security. For small businesses and agencies with small clients, the extra depth rarely justifies the price.
Some agencies use an enterprise tool for one large client and this for their smaller ones, where per-workspace pricing doesn’t fit.
Your account drops to the free plan and every answer, report and chart stays.
